Is it possible to live in brighton if you're not especially rich?

i'm seriously considering moving down there as its grim up north! (and gorgeous down there!) however, its cheap up north too! are wages higher in/around brighton or do most people end up having to work 2 or 3 jobs to survive? are normal people really able to pay 1000 p.m for a 2 bed terrace?

Yahoo! UK News Message Boards – Gordon Brown – Response from David Lepper

Ah, you know when you get a reply passing the buck that they can't reply to you coz you're not a member of their constituency that there's something wrong:

Isn't there David? FABIAN SOCIETY, SOCIALIST EDUCATION ASSOCIATION

Anymore of you want to respond saying “speak to your local MP – nothing to do with me” when I highlight the Fabian society along with Common Purpose and more? :-)
Others have responded with no issue and I'm not their constituent. But then they're not FABIAN!
